One-on-One Application Guidance
Our school is dedicated to helping students gain admission to their ideal universities. We have a team of professional college counsellors, all graduates of world-class universities, who work closely with students to design a personalised path toward their higher education goals.
The best university and program for a student aligns with their strengths and aspirations. By reviewing a student’s internal assessments, academic reports, term exams, IELTS (or equivalent English proficiency tests), and IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) results, we clearly understand their academic progress and potential and provide tailored guidance. The IGCSE + A Level curriculum is highly regarded worldwide, especially during the university application process, helping students secure placements at universities across more than 160 countries.
At Wycombe Abbey International Schools, university selection and application discussions begin as early as the IGCSE stage. During the two-year IGCSE preparation period, students gain a deeper understanding of various fields of study. By the A Level stage, students enter the most critical two years of the application process. In this phase, they choose subjects that align with their strengths and interests, develop independent research skills, and prepare for IELTS, TOEFL, SAT, or ACT exams.
In addition, Wycombe Abbey International Schools organise overseas university visits through academic travel programs, hosts university fairs on campus, and invites admissions officers from prestigious universities to meet with students. These opportunities provide students with valuable insights into university requirements and help them clarify their goals.

So far, 100% of Wycombe Abbey School graduates over the last ten years have been admitted to prestigious universities. Among them, 47% of our graduates (2021-2024) have gone on to study at the world’s top 50 universities (QS Rankings), while nearly 70% have received offers from universities in the top 100 (QS Rankings).
Our graduates have proceeded to international universities in the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Macau. Our graduates have been accepted onto over 100 academic courses, covering science & technology, commerce & management, and the visual & performing arts. Destinations include Cambridge, Oxford, Imperial, LSE, UCL, UCSD, NYU, Melbourne, Toronto, the Royal Northern College of Music, UAL, Parsons and Berklee.
The three Wycombe Abbey Schools’ Class of 2025 graduates are reaching new heights of success, receiving a remarkable 236 offers from world-renowned universities.
Wycombe Abbey Changzhou students have secured 169 offers from top institutions, including the University of Cambridge and the University of Oxford, the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, and more. Their chosen fields span a wide spectrum, from natural sciences and humanities to social sciences, big data analysis, aerospace, music, and the arts. This diverse range of opportunities is a testament to the comprehensive education we provide at Wycombe Abbey Schools.
Wycombe Abbey Hangzhou has also seen impressive results, with 40 university offers to date. Of these, 30% are from QS World Top 50-ranked universities, and our students have gained over 1 million RMB in scholarships. Notable offers include the University of California, Berkeley (QS World Rank 12), University of Melbourne (QS World Rank 13), and King’s College London (QS World Rank 40).
To date, Wycombe Abbey Nanjing graduates have received 27 offers from top universities in the UK, the US, Australia, Hong Kong, and Switzerland. These include the University of Manchester, University of Warwick, Berklee College of Music, University of Melbourne, and prestigious Swiss hotel management schools such as EHL and Glion.
