Our History
Wycombe Abbey International (WAI) was established in 2015 to promote and expand Wycombe Abbey’s educational offer internationally. Wycombe Abbey in the United Kingdom was founded in1896. It has since become a world leader in independent boarding school education and is globally renowned for its academic excellence and innovative curriculum.
Roughly one-third of Wycombe Abbey students gain admission to the universities of Oxford and Cambridge annually. Many others secure places at elite Russell Group universities in the UK and Ivy League institutions in the USA.
