Wycombe Abbey International to Launch Landmark Co-Educational School in Incheon Free Economic Zone
Wycombe Abbey International is proud to announce its selection as the preferred negotiation partner by the Incheon Metropolitan Government and the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZA) to establish a groundbreaking, world-class international school in Midan City, Yeongjong International City, Incheon.
This prestigious appointment follows a highly competitive global bidding process involving leading education providers from the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada. Wycombe Abbey International’s winning proposal marks a transformational leap for international education in South Korea and a major milestone for our organization’s expansion.
Wycombe Abbey International schools, operated in partnership with BE Education, a leading education consultancy in Asia, offer an exceptional British-style education, providing a trusted pathway to the world’s top universities. With flourishing campuses in Hong Kong, Changzhou, Hangzhou and Nanjing, the Incheon project will mark our sixth location and the first in Korea.
A New Educational Landmark for Korea
The proposed Wycombe Abbey School Incheon will be a vibrant co-educational institution for students from nursery children through age 18. It will offer a rigorous and holistic curriculum supported by state-of-the-art facilities and a dynamic, future-focused learning environment.
Set on a planned 96,000 m² campus, the school will feature cutting-edge academic buildings, a contemporary library, dedicated arts and performance centres, and a world-class sports complex, setting a new benchmark for educational excellence. Ideally located just 15 minutes from Incheon International Airport, the school will be easily accessible to both domestic and international families.
As the first international school in Yeongjong International City, Wycombe Abbey School Incheon is poised to become a flagship project, attracting a diverse student body and contributing significantly to the region’s cultural vibrancy, global connectivity and economic growth.
