We are delighted to introduce The WAS Saturday Academy at WASCZ – an exciting new weekend program designed to open the world of music to all students and adults, regardless of previous experience.
What’s on offer?
1:1 Beginner Tuition
Our one-to-one music lessons are ideal for students and parents who are new to playing an instrument. With expert guidance from our internationally trained music team, participants can explore a wide range of Western and Chinese instruments in a supportive, fun, and personalised setting.
Group ‘Experience Classes’
These specially designed classes offer a friendly and collaborative way for beginners to discover music together. Whether it’s rhythm games, learning the basics of an instrument, or playing as part of a group, these sessions are perfect for families who want to experience the joy of music for the first time. Group classes will start with a minimum of 5 members.
The initial classes on offer will include:
Percussion – Explore rhythm and movement in a high-energy environment
Guitar – Learn basic chords, strumming, and playing as a group
Violin – Discover the fundamentals of string playing in a hands-on and accessible way
