Singapore, 23 October 2026 – BE Education Group (“BE Education”) and SGX Mainboard-listed Wee Hur Holdings Limited (“Wee Hur”) [伟合控股有限公司] have appointed Craig Considine, current Chief Executive Officer of Tanglin Trust School, as Founding Head of Wycombe Abbey School (Singapore). Bringing more than 25 years of senior school leadership experience, he will lead the creation of a learning community that combines Wycombe Abbey’s academic ambition and whole-child ethos with a forward-looking approach to education. He will take up the role in August 2027, ahead of the school’s planned full opening in August 2028.

The appointment was announced at a reception in Singapore on 23 October, attended by Jo Duncan, Headmistress of Wycombe Abbey; Patrick Sherrington, Chair of Wycombe Abbey International; and Scott Bryan, Managing Director of Wycombe Abbey International. The reception brought together the leadership of Wycombe Abbey in the UK, Wycombe Abbey International and the school’s founding partners, BE Education and Wee Hur, to mark Craig’s appointment.

Craig Considine has served as Chief Executive Officer of Tanglin Trust School since 2018, following ten years as Headmaster of Millfield School in England and an earlier headship at Whanganui Collegiate School in New Zealand. With senior leadership experience at some of the world’s most respected schools, he combines deep knowledge of Singapore’s international education community with a background in British boarding education. His earlier career in professional Australian Rules football and international athletics also informs his commitment to teamwork, resilience and developing individual talent.

“Wycombe Abbey’s academic rigour and commitment to educating the whole child are what drew me to this role. The opportunity to build a new school in Singapore, where my family and I have lived for eight years, is particularly meaningful. My vision is to establish a school where every pupil is known, challenged and inspired: one that combines British educational heritage with a forward-looking approach that develops young people’s abilities, character and confidence. I look forward to working with our founding team and families to create a learning community that Singapore can be proud of.” – Craig Considine, Founding Head, Wycombe Abbey School (Singapore)

“Choosing the Founding Head is one of the most important decisions in establishing a school. Craig brings a combination of experience in British education, an understanding of Singapore families and a commitment to developing the whole child. These qualities make him well suited to lead Wycombe Abbey School (Singapore), build its founding team and establish its culture from the outset. As we continue to grow the Wycombe Abbey family across Asia, Craig’s leadership will ensure that our Singapore school builds a distinctive identity of its own, drawing on the uncompromising standards of Wycombe Abbey UK and our deep experience throughout Asia, ready to serve pupils and families for many years to come.” – William Vanbergen, Founder and Chairman, BE Education Group; Chairman, Wycombe Abbey School International Advisory Board

“Craig’s appointment marks another important step in bringing Wycombe Abbey School (Singapore) to fruition. Together with the regulatory and construction milestones achieved to date, it reflects the steady progress being made towards the school’s opening. For Wee Hur, this investment demonstrates how we can leverage our development expertise and capital alongside experienced operating partners to build sustainable, long-term businesses. We look forward to working closely with BE Education and the Wycombe Abbey team to establish a school that will serve generations of pupils.” – Goh Wee Ping, Chief Investment Officer, Wee Hur Holdings and Chief Executive Officer, Wee Hur Capital
