WAS Nanjing: Starting a Journey Towards Excellence with Teacher Training
Dedicated to academic rigour and the art of education, in August 2025, WAS Nanjing launched the new school year with a two-week series of high-quality, intensive teacher training sessions.
“Every year is a fresh start, and this year we want ‘academic advancement’ to be at the heart of what we do—not merely chasing grades, but ensuring that every child gains solid knowledge and confidence at a pace that suits them,” said Matthew Jamieson, Executive Head of WAS Nanjing, at the opening of the teacher training programme. His words conveyed WAS’s educational ethos: “Every child can excel.”
